QRC Old Boy Richard Thompson obliterates field in National Track Championships
QRC alumnus Richard “Torpedo” Thompson put on a stellar performance at the National Track and Field Championships 2011 at the Hasely Crawford Stadium yesterday, August 13th, 2011. In a top-class field that included fellow alumnus Mark Burns, Thompson took gold. In the process, the Olympic silver medalist set a new National Record time and personal best of 9.85 seconds in the 100m sprint final for men.
