Members are kindly invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of the Queen’s Royal College Old Boys’ Association which will take place in the Hall of the recently restored Main Block of the College on Tuesday 7th December, 2010 at 5pm.
The business of the AGM will consist of the following:
- Confirmation of the Minutes of the AGM of 28th May 2010
- Matters arising out of the Minutes
- Receiving and considering the Report of the Board of Directors
- Receiving and considering audited financial statements and the Report of the Auditors
- The election of members of the Board of Directors
- The appointment of auditors
- Any other business which shall be considered special business
The current members of the Board of Directors are as follows:

Mr. Patrick Rabathaly, VP (Finance)
Mr. Larry Olton, VP (Development)
Mr. Philip Sealy, Secretary
Mr. Justice Rolston Nelson
Mr. Hart Edwards, Immediate Past President
Bye-Law 12.5 of the Association requires that two of the Board members shall retire from office but shall be eligible for re-election. By agreement of the parties, the two Board members retiring are (1) the Vice President (Operations) and (2) the Vice President (Development).
No election of the three Alumni Chapter Representatives, of one Overseas Chapter Representative or of one Young Alumni Chapter Representative will take place at this AGM as no application for Alumni Chapter status has been received, considered and approved by the Board of Directors.
Should you wish to nominate a member of the Association to fill either of the two offices indicated above, the Bye-laws of the Association require that such a proposal for election together with notification in writing signed by the person to be proposed signifying his willingness to be elected, must reach the Secretary of the Association not less than seven days nor more than twenty-one clear days before the day appointed for the meeting.
The statutory notice for the AGM appeared in the Trinidad Express newspaper on Tuesday 16th November 2010. The last date for receipt of nominations is 1st December 2010.
