The Parent Teacher Association of Queen’s Royal College presents the annual Christmas show, ‘A Royal Christmas’ on Sunday 12th December, 2010.

The concert will take place at Queen’s Royal College and is scheduled for a 5:00 p.m. start  Patrons will be treated to a fabulous showcase of Royalian talent in this two and a half hour spectacular.

The show features song and instrumentals by students, parents and staff, a fashion show with outfits modelled by students and supporters of the College, and even a showdown between a QRC Crew and renowned hip-hop dance group, Xtreme Breakers.

Tickets are $50.00 and available at the school’s Administrative office.  All proceeds go toward refitting of the College’s Technical Drawing Lab.

Members are kindly invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of the Queen’s Royal College Old Boys’ Association which will take place in the Hall of the recently restored Main Block of the College on Tuesday 7th December, 2010 at 5pm.

Billed as the sickest party to start the Christmas vibe, QRC Code Blue presents FRICTION: THE MOVEMENT OF TWO BODIES,ONE MOTION, INTENSE HEAT… HOW HEATED CAN YOU GET?

The event is carded for Saturday 11th December from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm at the QRC Gymnasium.  Cover is $60 with invitations and $80 without, and two girls on one invite for $120 before 8:00 pm. Invitations are limited.

Music will be provided by GRINE STAR SOUNDS and THE LION TWINS & JHAZZY among others.

Queen’s Royal College beat Naparima College in their semi-final round to make it to the finals of the 2010 edition of RBTT Young Leaders Debates.

The school’s debaters will come up against St. Mary’s College on Tuesday November 30, at the Andre Kamperveen Hall, Centre of Excellence. The event is scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m.

XQ's Flyer

Quite Respectable Chaps presents XQ’s, the event formerly known as the QRC Small Lime.

It’s on the public holiday after Boxing Day, Monday 27th December from 11:00am until your excuses not to come home run out.

Bring your cooler and walk with your ring stove.  Drink, lime, play, laugh and catch up on the times with all your fellow XQ’s.  For the less-than-sedentary, there will also be cricket and small goal football on the day.

Your contribution is $100, with 100% of the proceeds going to the College… No excuses.

Music will be blasting through the day supplied by DJ Colin Chambers.
