By all accounts, more than a fine time was had by all.  Photos of the event are still coming in, many uploaded to the QRC Fan Page on Facebook [Link] and some on person’s individual galleries [Link 1 & Link 2].  Some access restrictions may apply.

Many thanks are extended to top deejay Jus Jase who managed to rearrange his schedule to spend most of the day at the event with his wheels of steel, bringing back the throw-backs to help keep the Lime going strong.  And thanks too to Hayden “Tom” Noel for capturing the following session on video.

After much posturing in other online spaces, teams Local Based proved too much for teams Foreign Based to handle in the afternoon’s football tournament.  However, licks was not enough to break the general spirit of camaraderie.

The biggest reunion event of the year has grown even bigger in 2009, proving that where the lime is, QRC Old Boys will always be.

POSTSCRIPT: In a sad addition, QRC.edu extends sincerest condolences on behalf of the Royalian community to the family of Small Lime Organizing Committee chairman Willard McIntyre on the loss of his father late last week.

Even as we enjoy the season and look back on the Small Lime 2009 with smiles, please hold the McIntyre family and their loved ones in your thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
