Sprints

Persons interested in taking part in the 60-yd sprints are also asked to contact Ramesh. Ensure that you have your current weight so that you can be classed appropriately.

  • Race 1 - 200 and under Open
  • Race 2 – 200-220 lbs Over 35
  • Race 3 – Over 250 lbs Open
  • Race 4 - 220-250 lbs Over 35

Cricket

The cricket match carded for the afternoon has been firmed up in large part. However, persons interested in participating may also contact Ramesh see whether they can be squeezed in.

The annual get together of Old Boys of Queen’s Royal College known as the “QRC Small Lime” takes place on December 27th this year, at the QRC Grounds, starting at 2:00pm. Science pupils and teachers at Queen’s Royal College (QRC) have been operating without a general science lab for more than two years now because the Ministry of Education has failed to complete works on the lab, principal Lennard Hinkson has said.

Hinkson made the comment while addressing QRC’s special Achievement Award Ceremony at the Cascadia Hotel in St Ann’s on Friday. Read the rest of this entry »

QRC Scouts hosts the third edition of the Camp Royale International Camporee in July 2009  Scoutmaster Roger Berkeley is issuing a call for volunteers to help run the camp.

Fatima College handily defeated relegated Malick Senior Comprehensive by four goals to one at QRC Grounds.  Meanwhile, St. Anthony’s was required to fight off a plucky Trinity College unit in order to advance.  The final score at Fatima Ground was 2-1.

The North Zone Intercol competition kicks off tomorrow afternoon with matches at QRC and Fatima Grounds.  At Hayes Street, Fatima College take on Malick Senior Comprehensive, and at Mucurapo Road, St. Anthony’s tackles Trinity College.  Both matches commence at 3:45PM.
